Ingredients
Scale
Eggless Waffles
- 120 g All-purpose flour
- 55 g Castor sugar
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- ¼ tsp Baking soda
- 80 g Curd
- 55 g Melted butter
- 110 g Full-fat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla bean paste
Instructions
- Set the waffle machine temperature at 200°C and let it preheat for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the batter.
- In a large bowl, sieve all the dry ingredients, i.e., all-purpose flour, castor sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Give them a good mix.
- We’ll add curd and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix well to make a thick batter.
- Since the batter is thick, add milk to it to adjust the consistency of the batter. Mix well, and you’ll get a smooth, lump-free batter.
- Since we are making classic vanilla waffles, we add vanilla bean paste for that rich flavor. Mix well, and the batter is now ready to be baked.
- Before pouring the batter into the waffle machine, grease it with melted butter.
- Pour the batter onto the waffle machine, ensuring you don’t overfill till the top, as it will rise during baking. Let it bake for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Once the waffles have been baked, remove them from the machine and garnish them with toppings of your choice. I have garnished them with vanilla ice cream, blueberries, mangoes, and maple syrup.
