Ingredients
- 400g Raw Hazelnuts
- 50g Natural Cocoa Powder
- 100g Castor Sugar
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (OTG mode: upper+ lower+ fan).
Spread the hazelnuts in a baking tray and roast them at 180°C (OTG mode: upper+ lower+ fan) for 12-15 minutes or until they turn amber-brown in colour.
Remove the tray from the oven and let the hazelnuts cool down for a while. We do not need them to cool down completely so they should be warm when you touch them.
Now, add hazelnuts to a food processor or mixer grinder and blend on high speed until
a buttery paste texture is achieved.
Once the hazelnut is creamy and smooth, add cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and vanilla essence and blend again until all the ingredients are fully incorporated, and a smooth texture is achieved.
