- 2 packets of Oreo
- 100 g Milk
- 50 g Fresh cream
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence
- 2 Egg yolks
- 200 g Cream cheese
- 100 g Heavy cream
- 60 g Icing sugar
Instructions
- Heat milk, fresh cream, sugar, and vanilla essence in a saucepan.
- Once it starts simmering, add 1/3rd portion of the milk mixture to the egg yolks and stir continuously. This is the process of tempering the yolk.
- Now, take this yolk mixture and add it back to the pan. Stir it until it starts to get thick.
- Once thick like custard, switch off the flame and let it cool down.
- Soften the cream cheese and icing sugar together in another bowl.
- Beat heavy cream till soft peaks are achieved.
- Add cream cheese mixture to heavy cream and beat again to combine them well.
- Once appropriately combined, add the custard mix and beat thoroughly till everything is well combined.
Assembly
- Take a rectangular glassware.
- Add a layer of crushed Oreos at the bottom.
- Then add the filling on top of it. Smoothen it out.
- Put more crushed Oreos on top of the filling. The filling should be fully covered.
- Keep it in the fridge for 4-5 hours before serving.
