Ingredients
Scale
- 225 g All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp + ½ tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Natural cocoa powder
- 200 g Castor sugar
- 90 g Vegetable oil
- 3 medium-sized Eggs
- 110 g Milk (a) (for vanilla batter)
- 2 tbsp Milk (b) (for chocolate batter)
- ½ tsp Vanilla essence
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C or 350° (OTG mode: upper rod + lower rod + fan).
- Prepare a 9-inch Bundt tin by greasing soft butter and dusting flour. Remove the excess flour by tapping it upside down.
- Add vegetable oil, eggs, milk (a), vanilla essence, and sugar in a bowl and mix.
- Sieve in all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in the same bowl. Mix all the ingredients properly so that there are no lumps.
- Transfer 1/3 of the batter to a different bowl and add natural cocoa powder. Mix properly so that the chocolate batter has no lumps.
- Add milk (b) to the chocolate batter and transfer it to a piping bag.
- Transfer the vanilla batter to the prepared Bundt tin.
- On top of the vanilla-flavored batter, pour the chocolate-flavored batter and, with a toothpick, make swirls.
- Bake it at 180°C or 350°F (OTG mode: lower rod only) for 35-40 minutes.
- After baking, keep the tin upside down so the cake comes out smoothly without sticking anywhere.
- After unmolding and cooling the cake completely, pour melted dark couverture chocolate on top of the cake.
